Restaurant staff app with order alerts

Your team gets every new order on their phones, with an alert and a spoken announcement so nobody misses one during a rush. Staff accept orders, update status and see what to prepare. Roles and permissions decide who sees what.

  • New-order alert and a spoken announcement on every phone
  • Accept, prepare and update orders from the app
  • Roles and permissions for cooks, cashiers, delivery and managers
  • Alerts on more than one phone at once

How it works

  1. 1

    Add your team

Invite staff from the dashboard and give each a role. Each person logs in with their own account.

  2. 2

    Orders arrive on the app

A new WhatsApp, store page or QR order rings the phone and is read out loud, so the kitchen does not need to keep watching a screen.

  3. 3

    Staff act on it

Accept the order, mark it preparing, out for delivery, delivered or served. The customer gets a WhatsApp update at each step.

  4. 4

    Owner keeps control

Roles limit what each person can see and change. Each person signs in with their own login, so access can be removed the day someone leaves.

Alerts you can hear

A rush is when alerts matter most and when nobody is looking at a screen. The staff app plays an alert and reads the new order aloud, in English or Hindi.

  • Sound alert on every new order
  • Spoken announcement of the order
  • Works on the phones your staff already carry
  • Alerts on several phones at once

Work the order from the phone

The app handles the order itself: accept it, move it through preparing to out for delivery, delivered or served, and see items, notes and the table number.

  • Accept or reject with one tap
  • Status updates that message the customer
  • Table number, pickup time and delivery address on the order

Roles, permissions and login security

Give a cook, a cashier, a delivery rider and a manager different access. Each has a login of their own, so you can remove one person without changing a shared password.

  • Roles such as cook, cashier, delivery and manager
  • Each staff member has their own login
  • Permissions limit what each role sees and changes
  • Remove access in one step when someone leaves

Frequently asked questions

How do staff get notified of a new order?

Through the Tezzu staff app on their phones. Every new order, whether it came from WhatsApp, the store page or a table QR, triggers an alert and a spoken announcement that reads out the order. Several staff phones can be alerted at the same time, so the kitchen and the counter both know.

Can staff accept and update orders without the owner?

Yes, if their role allows it. A manager or cashier can accept an order, mark it preparing and move it to out for delivery, delivered or served from the app. Each status change sends the customer a WhatsApp update. The owner sees everything in the dashboard and can limit what each role is allowed to do.

What roles are available?

Roles such as cook, cashier, delivery and manager, each limited to what that job needs. A cook does not need billing; a delivery person does not need the menu editor. Every person gets their own login, so when someone leaves you remove one account instead of changing a shared password.

Can alerts go to more than one phone?

Yes. Several staff phones can receive the same new-order alert, so the kitchen and the counter both see it at once. Whoever accepts the order handles it, and the rest of the team sees the status change in the app.

Is the staff app included in the plan?

Yes. The staff app comes with every plan, from ₹999 a month, alongside the dashboard. Staff accounts are included, and the number of accounts per plan is on the pricing page. There is no per-device charge. Orders are the flat ₹10 each, with no commission, and every plan starts with a 7-day free trial.
