QR code ordering for dine-in tables
Print a QR code for every table. Guests scan it, see your menu with photos, order and pay from their seat. The order arrives with the table number, the KOT prints in the kitchen, and you mark it served when it reaches the table.
- One QR per table, table number attached to every order
- Guests order and pay without waving for staff
- KOT prints in the kitchen the moment the order is confirmed
- A served status so the floor knows what is done
How it works
- 1
Add your tables
Create tables in the dashboard and get a QR code for each one. Print them on table tents or stickers.
- 2
Guest scans and orders
The QR opens your menu in the phone browser with the table already set. The guest picks items, adds notes and confirms.
- 3
Kitchen gets the KOT
The order shows in the dashboard and staff app with the table number, and prints as a KOT on your thermal printer.
- 4
Mark it served
A dine-in order goes from new to preparing to served. Guests pay online when they order, or at the counter with a GST bill.
Table numbers on every order
Each order carries its table number through the dashboard, the staff app and the KOT, so runners know where the plate goes.
- Table number on the KOT and in the dashboard
- Dine-in orders in their own tab
- Guest notes printed on the ticket
- Served status once the food reaches the table
Payment at the table or the counter
Guests can pay by UPI or card when they order, or you can settle at the counter and print a GST bill.
- UPI and cards through Razorpay at order time
- Pay at the counter with a printed GST bill
- Combined bills at the counter
- Flat ₹10 per order, no commission
Same menu, same dashboard
The dine-in menu is the menu you already built. Update a price or mark an item sold out and the QR shows it straight away; the code itself never changes.
- No reprinting when the menu changes
- Menu scheduling switches breakfast and lunch items automatically
- Dine-in, delivery and pickup in one dashboard
- Staff app alerts for new table orders

Frequently asked questions
Do guests need to install an app or have WhatsApp?
No. The table QR opens a normal web page in the phone's browser. The guest browses the menu with photos, adds items and confirms the order there. Nothing to download. The table number is set by the QR, so the guest never has to type it.
How does the kitchen know which table an order is for?
The table number travels with the order. It shows on the order card in the dashboard and the staff app, and prints on the KOT in the kitchen along with items, variants, add-ons and any notes the guest added. When the food goes out, staff mark the order served.
Can guests pay at the counter instead of online?
Yes. You can let guests pay by UPI or card when they place the order, or settle at the counter after the meal. At the counter you print a GST bill from Tezzu on a thermal printer. Combined bills are supported too, so one table does not leave with three slips.
What does the served status do?
Dine-in orders have their own flow: new, preparing, served. Marking an order served tells the floor and the counter that the table has its food, and keeps the dashboard clear of orders that are already done. Delivery orders use out for delivery and delivered instead, so the two never get mixed up.
Does it cost extra?
No. Dine-in QR ordering is part of every Tezzu plan, from ₹999 a month. Each order is charged the flat ₹10 like any other order, with no commission. There is no separate QR menu subscription and no per-table fee. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial.
