Eid offer and greeting messages

An Eid mubarak message for customers comes at the end of a month in which your WhatsApp number may already have been busy with iftar boxes and sehri deliveries, so these templates cover the whole stretch: Ramadan pre-orders, daily iftar reminders, chand raat late hours, Eid day greetings and biryani or sheer khurma orders, and Eid-ul-Adha a couple of months later. Restaurants, cloud kitchens, home cooks and caterers send them. The one thing that makes them work is respect for the clock: iftar is at a fixed minute, sehri ends at a fixed minute, and a message that promises delivery before those times, and keeps the promise, earns a customer for every Ramadan after.

Send the iftar box message a few days before Ramadan starts and the daily reminder by early afternoon, never close to iftar time. Eid orders should be taken as pre-orders with a delivery or pickup slot, because Eid morning is not the time to be cooking to order. Greetings on Eid day carry no offer. Everything that sells is a marketing message, so it carries an opt-out line and goes only to customers who agreed to hear from you. Tips for sending these on WhatsApp

• Put the iftar and sehri times in the daily message and set a cut-off you can keep. A late iftar box is remembered for a year. The Ramadan iftar box guide covers timing and packing.
• Take Eid day orders as scheduled orders with a slot, and cap the slots. On Tezzu, pre-orders carry a delivery or collection time, so the kitchen list for Eid morning is fixed the night before.
• Send the daily iftar reminder in the early afternoon, not an hour before iftar, so the order can be prepared without rushing.
• Send the Eid greeting with no offer. It is read more than any offer that month and keeps your number welcome.

What should an Eid Mubarak message to customers say?

The wish, your restaurant's name, a line of thanks for the Ramadan orders, and your Eid day hours. No offer on the day itself. Keep it to four lines and send it in the morning. If you want to sell Eid specials, do that in a separate message two to four days earlier with prices, a deadline and a slot, so the greeting stays a greeting.

How early should I start Ramadan and Eid messages?

Iftar box orders open three to five days before Ramadan begins, with a daily reminder through the month to customers who ordered at least once. Eid specials go out four to five days before Eid, with a deadline reminder two days before. Chand raat hours are a same-day message, and the greeting is on Eid morning. Keep the daily reminder short so a month of messages does not feel like spam.

Should I offer discounts on Eid?

Not necessarily. Eid orders are planned purchases where the deciding factors are quality, a reliable slot and clear prices, so a discount often gives away margin you did not need to. A free dessert with a family platter, or free delivery above a minimum, is enough. Save percentage discounts for the quieter week after Eid, when a reason to order is actually needed.
